Watch the Creed III Trailer

The trailer establishes the core relationship between Downey and Damian, their childhood friendship rooted in a rocky upbringing and trouble with the law. Damian just got out of prison, and Donnie feels guilty about the huge difference in circumstances between them. He even offers Damian an audition at his boxing gym, only to find out what a brutal boxer he has become. Ultimately, his brutality translates into more boxing opportunities, which only makes Downey think he’s unleashed a monster. Inevitably, a serious feud broke out between the two former friends, and both have a lot to prove.
The final trailer will be released after the Super Bowl on February 15, 2023. It hits on the same themes of Downey’s success and career being questioned by Damian, who thinks he deserves the same kind of life. The trailer continues to draw parallels between the two, especially during the intense training montage before the game. Downey’s main motivation comes from a serious moment with his wife, Bianca, where she tells him not to let Damian “ruin everything we’ve built.”
